Private Workshops

WNYC featured Twig in their Niche Market program and interviewed us while we were holding a private workshop! While we can’t promise that will happen every time, our private workshops are sure to delight! Take a listen here! :)
Twig offers private workshops for individuals and small groups at our studio in Brooklyn. We supply all the necessary ingredients and folks get to select their glass from our large selection, as well as their custom figures and scenes – from hikers to hookers! The Twig Chicks guide you through every step of the process, from creation to customization. No experience required! We assist folks in landscaping their little green worlds to fit their taste, and offer lots of tips and tricks along the way. The workshop runs up to 2 hours, and rates are $150/person, though we offer discounted rates for groups (up to 20 people).

Events & Parties

Twig Terrariums does weddings and bar mitzvahs!
Okay, that’s not entirely true… but we do love a party!

Invite Twig into your space for a fun, terrarium-making event for staff, clients, classrooms, friends, and family. We bring all the necessary ingredients, from the glass to the little folks. Everything comes displayed in a cute Twig gift bag, too!  The Twig Chicks are there to assist your group in the creation of their little green worlds. When everyone has completed miniscaping their terrarium, the creation goes back in the bag to be carried home or given as a gift! Twig provides everything needed to have a blast…and we even clean up after ourselves!

There Comes a Yes and I Spy DIY did great write-ups about Twig’s terrarium-making event with Design*Sponge at the Brooklyn Flea’s Gifted fair, Winter 2010.

Hearty Magazine’s editor, Hana, did a blog post about her terrarium-makin’ fun at BPMW’s showroom for a corporate event.
