Twig Terrariums' founders Michelle Inciarrano and Katy Maslow were featured in the June 3rd, 2010 edition of The New York Times. Twig headlined the Home section with their bigger than life images of moss and tiny scenes, shot by Robert Wright (who also photographed for our book, Tiny World Terrariums!). The response to the article about the resurgence of terraria had a profound impact on us. To this day, our feature remains one of our proudest Twig moments.

In April 2012, Entrepreneur Magazine featured Twig Terrariums in a full-page spread about their homegrown business. From the Aha! moment to our debt-free business plan, this feature was a milestone in the growth of our small business.

Country Gardens magazine featured Twig's creation in an article written by Tovah Martin, an amazing fellow terrarium-enthusiast and plant nerd. We are so thrilled with this article and photography. Thank you!

In June 2011, Real Simple Magazine featured our Grazed & Confused readymade terrarium in their Summer Gift Guide. We got no less than a dozen calls from family members around the country the day the issue arrived in people's mailboxes - including our own! Michelle and Katy are both longtime subscribers.

Twig is located in Gowanus, just a quick jump to Brooklyn's Barclay Center, the biggest stadium and event venue in our fine borough. When the folks at Barclay Center TV contacted us about doing features on local businesses and makers, we were thrilled! Our interview was shown on hundreds of screens all throughout the Barclay Center during major events - maybe even a Beyonce concert! What?? We weren't on the megatron though...we asked...a few times. :)

Discover Magazine featured Twig's creations and invited readers to explore the tiny, twisted world of terrariums!! We were delighted to be contacted by Discover Magazine, as both us Twig chicks are reallllllly into science AND the curious curiosities existing throughout this universe.

A highlight of our earliest days of Twig has to be meeting Rachael Ray on set, during a commercial break. We were doe-eyed and she was magnificent. Not only did Rachael Ray commission us to create customized terrariums for her and a few friends, she also included Twig in her magazine, EveryDay with Rachael Ray!

Twig was invited to get comfy with The Nate Berkus Show during the Renegade 2011 Summer Craft Fair!
